The perfect hostel if you want to feel “family” vibes. Everybody is outgoing and cheerful, specially the manager Mervin. He is really nice and kind. The hostel is also clean and well managed.

Affordable and great place to stay! I really enjoyed my stay here. It’s close to everything, perfect location. Rooms are very clean and well organised. There’s a pool to chill and tables outside to read a book while being out in nature. Most of all the staffs are friendly and helpful, Mervin was amazing! Thanks a lot! I felt very welcome and it had a real home-away-from-home vibe. ❤️

I’ve had a great stay at Red Rock Hostel and am still here after originally booking for just one week and then extending for another month — which says a lot on its own. The management is excellent — the manager, Mervin, is always happy to help with anything and makes you feel very welcome. The hostel is very well kept: the bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas are always clean and tidy, and the pool is cleaned regularly. The vibe is chill and friendly, making it a really nice place to relax and meet people. It’s also very centrally located, close to the Main Street (Todd Mall) and within walking distance of grocery stores. If I could suggest a couple of improvements, adding curtains to the beds would be great for extra privacy, and extending the kitchen opening hours a bit would be helpful. I understand it’s for safety, but the 10 pm closing time can feel a little limiting at times. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Red Rock Hostel and am very happy staying here.

I rarely post reviews but the care and service that Mervin and his Wife provided were far beyond expectations. I cannot recommend this place enough, it is a lovely hostel located in the center of Alice Springs. Whether you intend to stay short or long term I highly recommend this place to anyone travelling here. This place feels more like a shared house than it does a hostel and our stay was nothing short of amazing.

I stayed for one week during the Christmas holidays and had a great time! The place is really lovely, with clean rooms and common areas. The location is excellent, right in the center and close to the main shops. The staff was really kind and helpful at all times. As a little plus, for Christmas the owner organized an amazing party with food and fun games. I had an amazing week!

I had an amazing stay at this hostel, and a huge part of that was thanks to Marvin and Riza. Every single day, I saw them working tirelessly around the hostel - cleaning, repairing facilities, solving guests’ problems, and always being available to help whenever needed. Their dedication and attention to detail create a comfortable, welcoming, and well-maintained environment that truly feels like a home away from home. What impressed me even more was how friendly and caring they are. They regularly organize movie nights and other activities that bring guests together and create a wonderful community atmosphere. It’s clear that they genuinely care about every guest’s experience and go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. Running a hostel is not easy, but Marvin and Riza do it with professionalism, kindness, and an incredible work ethic. Thanks to their hard work, staying here was an absolute pleasure. This is honestly one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly, and well-managed place to stay.

I stayed here for three months, and I'm confident it's the best hostel in Alice Springs. The manager is incredibly kind, and the rooms are cleaned every day. The kitchen and all the common areas are also kept very clean. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city, so everything is within easy walking distance. I had a wonderful stay for three months without any problems. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Alice Springs!
